You play as the lone samurai, Kanashimi. His village was taken over by mysterious spirits two years prior. He fought along side his fellow samurai, but was overwhelmed by fear when he saw his master and classmates slaughtered with ease. He ran for meadows below the mountainside village. Filled with remorse and regret, he trained his hardest for the past two years to head back to the mountain and take his village back from these mysterious spirits. Little does he know, the spirits are lead by a familiar face, and the attack was not as simple as he once thought...
